Certifications for Environmental Safety Solutions

At Cactus Environmental we care about safety and hold multiple certifications to ensure you that each service we offer is held to the highest state and federal standard. These certifications also mean that we’re operating with the utmost regard for environmental safety and safe operating practices.

HAZMAT Certification

It all starts at the top with our Federal Hazmat Registration, which is processed through the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). They’re responsible for regulating and ensuring the safe and secure movement of hazardous materials by all modes of transportation. You can find everything you want to know, including all of the technical information, about PHMSA here.

Other Environmental Safety Certifications

Cactus Environmental’s Confined Space Safety training complies with The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) standard. This training is intended to protect those working in or around confined spaces such as underground vaults, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos, process vessels, and pipelines. It keeps our workers safe and you can trust that they know how to get the job done right.
Confined space entry & rescue
Emergency clean-ups are necessary and Confined Space Rescue Personnel must be available for when they happen. Responders at Cactus Environmental meet the terms of The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) standard. This means our rescue service personnel are equipped with rescue and protective gear, and they know how to use it.

Training to Ensure Expert Environmental Safety Solutions

We spend the time to make sure our rescuers receive entry-level training, know how to execute assigned rescue duties and that they are trained in first aid and CPR. With practice rescue exercises performed yearly, workers from Cactus Environmental know what to do in any of the clean-up situations they may face. General Site Workers receive a minimum of 40 hours of online instruction, and a minimum of three days of field experience and Occasional Site Workers receive a minimum of 24 hours of online instruction, and a minimum of one day actual field experience. This means that all of the drivers, techs and managers at Cactus Environmental are HAZWOPER certified.

Environmental Safety Solutions You Can Trust

All of the efforts that are put into training makes sure that Cactus Environmental is doing everything we can to keep you, your business, our workers and the environment safe during the time it takes us to clean-up commercial sized wastes.
